This exemption defers for four years any increase in the assessment of your property due to an addition or other improvement to your home for which the Assessor would add value.

  • A maximum of $75,000 in fair cash value of improvements
  • Have ownership in the property as of January 1st of the assessment year.

Homeowner’s Exemption – This is exemption requires that you reside in the property and have ownership. It will reduce your taxable assessed value by $6,000. Complete the entire application and send to:
